At recent events around the world, CSL opened its doors to children who brought their natural curiosity to facilities where CSL researches, develops and manufactures medicines and vaccines. Here’s a look at events in Marburg, Germany; Melbourne, Australia; and King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, in the U.S.

Girls’ and Boys’ Day in Marburg, Germany

In Marburg, where CSL Behring has manufacturing and R&D operations, children were invited behind the scenes for an introduction to careers in science.

Friends & Family Day at CSL’s new HQ in Melbourne, Australia

A crowd of 800 friends and family, including plenty of children, recently got an inside look at CSL’s new headquarters building in Melbourne’s biomedical precinct. For the day, labs were transformed into a place of bubbling rainbows, slime and fluorescent cells under microscopes.

King of Prussia’s “Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day”

At CSL Behring’s office in King of Prussia, 90 children visited and participated in a variety of learning opportunities and activities.

Kids had questions and Rebecca DeSantis, Michael Jaecks and Jaclyn Barber – all with the Medical Information Team – had answers.
